Our Team

Sean Kogan is co-founder and Managing Partner of Recruiting in Motion. Through his many years of experience, he has forged a stronghold in the field of recruiting. His primary role includes working closely with hiring managers and human resources professionals in attracting the best candidate for their specific search, as well as personally assisting candidates in their job-search efforts.  He is also closely involved with the hiring and training of internal staff, corporate development, administration and sales and marketing.

Prior to Recruiting in Motion, Sean worked for over 11 years at an International Staffing Firm where he managed an excellent team of tenured senior recruiting professionals. Sean also developed extensive hands-on knowledge of general management, and finance and accounting functions having personally worked in senior roles at various Fortune 500 companies. He also managed a successful travel and marketing company and holds an MBA degree, with a specialization in Accounting, from the University of Toronto, and an Undergraduate Economics Degree from McGill University in Montreal.

Sean has an easygoing, lead-by-example management style and is strongly committed to excellent customer service. He also prides himself on developing strong, lasting relationships with both candidates and clients while understanding their evolving needs. He lives in Toronto with his wife, three children and their dog.
